Additional information

• Vitamin D is formed by the effect of sunlight on the skin. Vitamin D is obtained from fatty fish, fish oil, eggs, mushrooms, and fortified foods such as milk and margarine. Especially in winter and when following a vegan diet, vitamin D intake can be challenging. The recommended dose of vitamin D is 7,5 micrograms / day for those aged 2 to 17 years, 10 micrograms / day for those aged 18 to 74 years, and 20 micrograms / day for those over 75 years of age. Vitamin D supplementation of 10 micrograms / day is recommended for pregnant and lactating mothers throughout the year.
